Welcome to PrintEasy. We know that the documents you print are often private, sensitive, and important. We built our platform with your privacy as a core feature.
This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in strict compliance with India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act). By using the Platform and providing your personal data, you explicitly consent to its processing in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
Our Role and the PrintEasy Model
PrintEasy is a technology platform that connects you with independent, local print shops ("Print Partners").
Our Role
Under the law, we act as a Data Fiduciary regarding the data collected on our platform. This means we manage your platform experience and dictate how your data is securely routed.
Partner Role
Print Partners may act as independent data fiduciaries or processors depending on their specific role and actions in fulfilling your physical print order.
Information We Collect and Why
We process your personal data only for lawful purposes and in accordance with your consent. We practice strict data minimization, collecting only the information absolutely necessary:
Identity & Contact
Name, phone number, and email address. Required for account creation, receipts, and support.
User Content
Documents, PDFs, or images you upload. Strictly for transmission to your selected Partner for fulfillment.
Location Data
Dynamic GPS mapping. Strictly used to display nearby Print Partners. We do not store movement history.
Technical Data
IP addresses and basic performance logs. Used for platform security, fraud prevention, and diagnostics.
How We Share Your Data
We do not sell your personal data. To physically print your files, we must securely transmit them:
With Print Partners: We share your uploaded files and print instructions only with the specific local shop you select. We undertake reasonable due diligence, but Partners manage their own local computer systems.
With Service Providers: We use trusted, secure third-party infrastructure (like cloud hosting and RBI-compliant payment gateways) to operate the app.
The "Transmit and Delete" Rule (Data Retention)

YOUR PRIVATE DOCUMENTS BELONG TO YOU. PRINTEASY DOES NOT OFFER LONG-TERM CLOUD STORAGE FOR YOUR PRINT FILES.
Once our system confirms completion, uploaded files are automatically deleted from PrintEasy's active servers, typically within 24–48 hours. Basic account profile data is retained for as long as your account is active or mandated by tax and accounting laws.
Data Security
We implement robust technical safeguards, including end-to-end encryption during data transit (HTTPS/TLS). While we secure the digital transmission, third-party partner systems operate independently of our infrastructure.

Data Breach Notification
